 Greetings From Shachaa!

 Shachaa is a Hebrew word that means to "bow down" and incorporates not only the physical but the heart and mind of believers in Christ. Shachaa believes in worshiping in Spirit and Truth so believers and non believers may know the truth of Christ's sacrificial love in their lives. Our vision for the ministry is to encourage people to find and develop their relationship with Christ and allow them to come to know Him better through music and worship.
 
(Drawing near to someone is encouragement to them and drawing near to God is encouraging to Him. The sacrifice of praise to God is drawing near to Him.)
 
"And I will ask the Father and He will give you another Helper that He may be with you forever; (that is) the Spirit of Truth, whom the world cannot receive because it does not behold Him or know Him,
{but} you know Him because He abides with you and will be in you." (John 14:16-17 NAS)
 
Shachaa is committed to honoring God through worship and reaching for the highest form of praise which can only come from the heart. The heart of Shachaa is to provide professional high quality Christ-centered music to a variety of venues including churches, youth events, camps, schools, juvenile detention centers, prisons and community events. Shachaa is a group of local musicians committed to living as disciples of Jesus and reaching out to those who have not had the privilege to be introduced to Him. Shachaa is a diverse group who adhere to the teaching that we can "become all things to all men in order to reach someone…." Name: James G. Moore
Age: 50
Birthday: January 7, 1960
Birth Place: Pittsburgh, PA.
Born again: 10/1993 (Attended Bethany Baptist as a child, baptized in the Holy Spirit at age 7 and Rededicated at age 34)
Religious affiliation: Non denominational, New Dawn Community Church
Raised as a Worship leader under my brother in Christ and very dear friend Manuel Fascinetto.
Instruments played: Bass, keyboard, percussion, vocals
Personal Goal: To lead worship totally in Spirit and Truth (A work in progress!)
 
Currently residing in Port St. Lucie with my wife, Anna, and our two children, Jada and Isaiah. I have been playing music for more than 30 years (and have had my 15 minutes of fame more than once). God called me to worship in 1994. It was a different experience than what I had been use to, coming from worldly places like clubs and bars . After a time, I began to recognize the call of the Holy Spirit and the humbling experience of true worship.
It was then that God embedded the vision of Shachaa Music Ministry into my heart. At the time I had no idea what He wanted, other than forming a Christian band. Over the years I have come to see that it's more than I could have ever dreamed. How awesome to see something being birthed after so many years of trying to figure it out! All I had to do is line up my will with His and stay out of the way. I can't wait to see what He will do next.

Currently residing in Lake Worth, FL with my wife, Debbie. I am a father of four children and a grandfather of four as well. Growing up in The Bronx was not an easy life. There were plenty of bad influences and eventually I was led into the world of drugs and alcohol. When I was 17 the house where I lived burned to the ground and I started over with my life. I moved to Florida at 19 and finally, after searching for a place to belong, I was born again. That day I was delivered from the bondage of drugs, alcohol and my past.

I began playing guitar at the age of eight and have continued to grow musically since. Now that I play for Jesus, I want to share with everyone what a mighty God has done for me because I know that He is no respector of persons and will do the same for anyone who desires deliverance.
